Doherty threw in a harmless enough dig about Varadkar still being under Garda investigation, who in turn lost the rag completely.

Typical Leo, plays the victim when anything is said to him but has no problem in lowering the blade himself when the time comes. He must have had that dirt on Doherty for a while and was only gagging to use it.

I assume it happened when Doherty was only a young fella and full of drink on a night out?

It’s gas how the Tanaiste of the country is under Garda investigation and he’s carrying on oblivious to it. I’d suggest if the deputy Prime Minister of a country was under police investigation for apparent corruption they’d stand aside until their guilt/innocence was known. Then again humility wouldn’t be something Varadkar would be known for
