SF always took the money bud, they just used the excess Members salaries to fund “party activists”, i.e. Shinnerbots in HQ spamming the internet and ex Provos to keep them sweet. It’s also a real benefit when, for example, you don’t take your seats in Parliament in London but claim those sweet sweet expenses.
Sinn Féin’s office
I know lots of SFers were happy enough to fall for the average industrial wage line as they don’t mind ex Terrorists being given a pension and lots of back office staff promoting the cause, but to have been lied to must be a real kick in the teeth.
The delusions on here will still claim them as a Republican, caring party. The reality is they have just taken the same path that FGers and FFers did, albeit on a slower learners path.
I’m fully aware of what way the party is going, mate — there’s a slight identity crisis between the old and the new but that will work itself out sooner rather than later one hopes.
We are still the only 32 county party and we are growing. I’ll be the first to admit we have a long way to go but we will get there… I’d rather be dealing with nothing stories like this than the sectarian one last week tbh.
That’s fine, just dont think you were aware that the party were taking the same millions the other ones do.
