Thatâs good. I looked at Tsonga at 13/5 earlier and didnât go for it.
Murray was very, very good against Roddick.

I see Andy destroyed Djokovic in the final in Cincy today.
What a guy!
Terrific win for Andy over Novak Djokovic in the final in Cincinnati. Sets him up nicely for Flushing Meadows.
Terrific indeed, a hard fought 6-4 win in the first set followed by 3 games on the trot (looking like a victory of all victories now), and THEN, AND THENâŚ
And then Djokovic retired injured.
Not a terrific win. Not a win at all.

Of course it was a win, you cum guzzling fuckface.
I can just picture your portly self now Bandage after you read my post there, all red faced and, well, portly, steam billowing out of your ears. Why do you get so upset about such trivial matters? Not very good scottish tennis player does not win a match, as his opponent retired injured, and you lose the rag? Is Andy a Celtic supporter?
Youâre right. Iâm seething about this. Eh, he did win - check the rules of game Fitzy.
Andy supports Hibs and also possesses a fondness for Barca having lived and trained at a tennis academy there during his teenage years.
Not a win
it is a win. It will go down in the record books as a win for Murray and he will get the points for the win. Was a bit disappointed that Djokovic retired injured though.
Nah, he made the right call. He couldnât even commit to that smash in the last game. No point going on at that stage.
Djokovic couldnât handle the fact he was being utterly outclassed by Judy Murrayâs boy.
Congratulations to Andy for following up his Thailand Open victory last week by beating Rafa Nadal in this morningâs Japan Open final. A splendid demolition of the âathleteâ from Spain in the deciding set with Andy hammering him 6-0.
Andy can have all the little ones.
Rafa will be looking to add another Davis Cup win to his Roland Garros trophy this year!
Anyone know how Murrayâs threat to strike due to the schedule can be reconciled to his willingness to participate in these minor events?
Not a win
Britainâs Andy Murray has appointed former world number one Ivan Lendl as his new full-time coach.
Lendl, the winner of eight Grand Slam events, will start work immediately.
Murray said: âIvanâs impact on the game is unquestionable and he brings experience and knowledge that few others have, particularly in major tournaments.â
The Scot starts 2012 with a first-round match against Mikhail Kukushkin at the Brisbane International on Tuesday.
Now 51, Lendl is rated as one of the worldâs greatest players, having won 94 ATP Tour titles in a career that spanned 16 years.
He came from two sets to love down to win the French Open final against John McEnroe in 1984 to claim his first Grand Slam and, after winning the 1985 US Open, he remained as the worldâs top ranked player for 156 consecutive weeks.
On becoming Murrayâs coach, Lendl said: âI am really excited to have the opportunity to work with Andy. He is a unique talent and I look forward to trying to help him reach his goals.â
I am confident of Rafaâs chances in the Australian Open. I donât know if he has had enough time to adjust for Djokovic yet, I think we may have to wait for the summer to see the new improved Rafa.
I would rank Djokovic, Nadal and Del Potro in that order as the three favourites for the least important Grand Slam.
I wouldnât be so confident of Rafaâs chances for Australia. He is already carrying a shoulder injury into the first grand slam of the season. I have a feeling that Rafa is going to struggle this year.
I see Djokovic, Fed and Murray being the 3 favorites especially with Rafa carrying this shoulder injury.
This is magnificent stuff from Andy.
FAO Bandage. Our boys time has come.
