Sir Andy Murray

Anywhere else apart from Sky Sports we can watch it lads?

Apparently it was on this channel before the rain delay - might come back on it afterwards:

Balls. Play is resuming tomorrow at 9pm Celtic Park time and the men’s final is on Monday now. I would question why the two men’s semi finals weren’t started at the same time. It appears Federer/Djokovic were playing away on the Arthur Ashe court and officals then decided after a while that rain was imminent so they decided to get Murray/Nadal started on the Louis Armstrong court. But Federer managed to finish off Djokovic and it wouldn’t have been fair for Murray or Nadal to have to complete their game tomorrow and then face a final too. So it seems fair enough to push it back to Monday though both games might have been finished today had they been played simultaneously.

is there really a louis armstrong court?

Nadal has taken the third set.

Murray doesn’t take any of 7 break points in the second game of the fourth set before Nadal eventually holds and then breaks him to love in the next game. That smacks of turning point to me but Murray’s recovered from adversity in the past. Not against Nadal though.

As showing above - figured out how to embed Justin.tv streams on here so no need to ever leave tfk again!

Yeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssss!!!

Fantastic achievement by the young Scot. I’ve been touting him for a bit as the fourth best player in the world and first outside the big 3, as it were. I think this win pretty much moves him into the big 4 category. Twill do if wins it and maintains consistency next year. Really hope he can beat Federer. What’s the ranking situation? I know Murray is going to number 4 but can Federer get number 1 back?

Saw a bit of this last night and Murray was truly excellent. A well deserved victory.

Watched this in a pub last night and the place was so quiet it was unreal. Erupted then when he won. Fair play to our fellow Celt - flying the flag for the Celtic nations. Brilliant win for him and heres hoping he beat that boring Swiss fella tonight.

I think it’s kicking off around 10pm/11pm O’Kennedy Park, New Ross, time tonight and it should be a good one. Murray’s beaten Federer twice in their previous three meetings so he shouldn’t be fazed by him. My concern is he’ll have expended so much energy in disposing of Nadal that he’ll struggle to reach those heights again tonight. I’m not talking about physical tiredness as the game was spread out over two days but mental energy and I hope he’s got more in the tank to face another legend of the game.

Have had a sly tenner of Muzza to win in four sets at 11/2.

It would be nice if little Andy cheered up a bit. We might just might folks get a smile if he wins tonight

2-2 and on serve at the moment. Murray saved a break point in the last game. Good start by both players. Murray’s not overawed anyway.

Muzza was broken to 15. He had 1 double fault but the rest was vintage Federer. Murray’s got to 30 on Fed’s serve a few times so even if he drops the first set he’s not out of it. Serving at 2-5.

Broken again to lose the first set 6-2. Again, I stress he’s not playing badly and he hasn’t frozen but it’s looking ominous as Fed’s playing so well. Some outrageously good shots. Muzza needs to get more first serves in though.
