Heās really turning it on now. Has Murray chasing him all over the court and has another couple of break points now but Murrayās holding on. Still think it looks like Murray is working awful hard on his own serve.

Mistake from Murray and then two good shots from Federer and he closes out the game. Murray has had few chances but has to take what comes along.
Murray had his chances in that set but as it went on Federer looked more and more in control and if it wasnāt for a couple of odd misses he probably could have won it well earlier. Good tie-break but in truth Federer was utterly dominant aside from the first half of the third set.
Another magnificent performance from the great man. It truly is a pleasure to watch Roger Federer play tennis.
Iām as loyal a Murray supporter as there is so I was very disappointed to find out that heād lost when I got up.

Caught the last set of this match this morning. That tie break was something else in terms of quality. In fairness to Murray he is a good player but even had he won that set it is very doubtful that he would have won anymore. He looked shattered having been dragged around the court by Federerās ground strokes.
He fuckin blubbered enough in the post match speech anyway.
It wasnāt like he lost after a 5 set marathon. He was spanked by the king.
Heās not the first, he wont be the last.

BBC doing the usual gushing over Murray anyway. Saying how āhe made Federer play to his absolute best to beat himā. Eh, he didnt really. Straight sets win and Federer really only upped the speed a bit when down in the third set. Iād say he barely broke a sweat beating Murray.
