Its like saying Henry Shefflin shouldnt wear a green helmet when playing for Kilkenny?
Is it not true that Mattie Forde’s gumshield is his club colours?
Brendan Cummins wears about a hundred jersey in a game including his clubs?
Wouldn’t read too much into that.
I dont think anyone is bothered.
he is probably used to wearing it, would you change your hurling helmet if you went playing with the county? probably not.
As an aside, I heard he has been to a couple of Neuro guys in the recent months over knocks he has gotten to his head. Another head injury the last day wint have helped.
When you get into a jag of getting knocked about and concussed its is not good. Happened me a fea years ago, got knocked spark out three times in space of a few months, had to pull the plug on it for the rest of the season.
To be fair to wee Paddy he doesnt seem to have lost his bottle as a result of it anyways

Cummins wears about 3 I think, Club, County and MUFC. Nuts.
Eoin Larkin wears a green and red helmet as well - James Stephens is his club.
Christ almighty lad, someones really got up your arse this morning. Most rational people realise that when you say this year in sports it usually relates to the particular season but you seem to be a striking mood so there’s no rationality to anything you’re going on about today.
I disagree with your comments on the Argies. He was poor bar the cross field kick for the try and spent the whole game looking for a row with the opposition rather than concentrating on the game. Tony Ward gave him the man of the match award much to everyones disbelief. Have to say, you’re a walking contradiction with a line like this though
I have been balanced with Leinster players. I said some (Heaslip, Horgan and O’ Driscoll) weren’t near their best form. I also hoped Heaslip wasn’t all “potential”. Then after saturdays game i said i was embarrassed for doubting Heaslip, D’Arcy and BO’D. I’m delighted i was wrong, as Ireland are better for it. Their form coming in wasn’t too hot though. I would say thats fair and balanced. But you fail to give credit to any of the other players.
I’ve brought this forward a few pages for your benefit. And if you read back through the hundreds of pages of rugby threads on this board you’ll see I have no problem heaping praise on Munster players when its warranted. You must have had a dose of paranoia pills over the weekend lad. The whole world isn’t against you.
I was having a pop at you and at the other Munster supporters who tend to usually talk about Munster carrying the Irish team forward. You also said I was picking Heaslip due to a Leinster bias there a few pages back. Maybe sarcasm is the wrong word but I think I’m still a bit drunk from last night.
Usually when Ireland play well there will be stand out performances from at least one Munster player. The front 5 were decent last night. O’Connell mopped up a lot of line out ball and put in a fair amount of tackles as did Hayes but the other 3 weren’t at that level. Wallace has been a stand out player in every game he’s played this season but seemed very quiet last night and for a change was outshone by a Leinster back row.
O’Leary and O’Gara were either under instruction to kick pointless ball up the middle or else both were taking the piss but both their kicking was below par. And TOL must’ve been under instruction to keep playing slow ball which annoyed the fuck out of everyone. The few times we played quick ball we either scored tries or really threatened.
O’Garas tackling was shocking and it meant that a poor French team were still in the game until Darcys try. I counted at least 3 or 4 times where the French made the bones of 60 yards because of missed tackles.
I believe you are totally understating the Munster players performance there. Thats not paranoia, thats what i see. Maybe its just your used to them giving excellent displays, but O’ Connell and Hayes were outstanding. You say they were decent.
Look paint it anyway you like, from what i have read you have a chip about Munster players. f you are really just seeing the games a different way, then i apologise, but i find it very hard to believe.
It’s a big game event junkie thing though, it’s nothing new.
Noticeable respect and lack of whining from the French players after the game. Not sure about their press, who usually blame everything except praise the opposition, but i suppose its good to hear from the players.
Its not the same thing at all really. Not that I give a shit or anything.
How is it different?
Larkins helmet even has “james Stephens” emblazened across the back of it in big writing,i didnt even notice that Wallaces head gear was Ulster, probably the one he always uses.
Don’t think it is, but i couldn’t give a shit. He is from Ulster the last time i checked. More power to him.
He doesnt normally wear one, just recently because his little head is getting such a battering since Matt Williams decided that Ulster players would start tackling again.
A lot of the Munster lads have them in blue and red.
I cannot believe anyone would think this was an issue to be honest!

You and me both!
he could have union jack jocks on for all i care, once they have a green jersey on their backs they are committed to the cause
Big wup about Wallace. Jaysus!
I like [being a Villageman] that Larkin wears Village colours.
I’d like that when helmets become compulsory at Senior level that players when playing IC wear the colours of their club much like the NFC/AFC players do at the Pro Bowl. Think it would be a nice touch but would be seen as a waste of money having multiple helmets.
90 caps not out, and still there, doing the job, at the very death.
Bull we salute you.

Looking slimmer as well. Legend in the true sense of the word.
