Six Nations 2009

What is the capacity for a Rugby match in Croker, official attendance given at around 77,000.
A lot of the corporate boxes were closed, practically all the ones at the Canal End and at least five in the Cusack.
Dan you were correct there awhile back when you predicted that they wouldn’t sell the full capacity.
I hope thats true. Great story if so.

The Bull sleeps a few nights a week on a wooden board I believe on the ground, as his back is in such a bad way. No one can ever question that mans committment, thats for sure. And of course, a farmer to boot. Legend.
Think Kidney said it after the Argies game when asked why Tony Buckley wasn’t brought on in a such a physical game when the props were under pressure. The Bulls wife is a former womens international as well and he made her quit the game so as not to harm their chances of having kids.

There was also a story going around years ago that when all the Ireland players were getting free cars he specifically asked for a Diesel car and was the only one. Never lost his farming roots!

I thought Kev had the IOTM won this morning with some of his comments but in one statement I think you’ve jumped ahead of him.

I wouldnt say he has much time left in his career though. Would have thought a Lions tour could have been a fitting end to it. Could allow Munster to give exposure to Buckley or one of the other props in the early part of next season.
Signed a new contract before christams til the end of the 2010 season…Will call it a day after that, has got better with age…4 or 5 years ago he was the most maligned player in the Irish team now he is one of the key players…

A gentleman to boot…Has he ever been sin binned?
Fair enough then, unreal that he could keep going at the level he’s at for so long. I guess Claw kept it up for a long time too and fitness was never exactly his game! :stuck_out_tongue:
I don’t think so…

Any chance you might give over this very poor attempt at a wind up CM…Nearly as bad as Cian Foley;)
Cian would be all on for the skull cap no doubt, it promotes local pride and sustains the economy!!

the bulls wife wears the trousers in that house, believe me he wouldn’t make her do anything!

Sorry Mac, just like in the Valentines thread i thought it was quite obvious i was only taking the piss… I heard two bitter fuckers talking about this issue on the bus today and i thought it was hilarious, i was hoping larryduff might have a nibble.

Fiona’s not simple alright, nice woman though. Not too sure about the dressing habits of the inner sanctum though! :stuck_out_tongue:

For fuck sake.

The man was representing Ireland. As far as I am aware he has never been vocal on the subject on representing Ireland and I am not sure of his political ideals but the point is that he pulled that green jersey on him.

If he wants to wear a scrum cap with Ulster colours let him. The last time I checked Ulster was part of Ireland. If he even wanted to show his Unionist roots (does he have any?) then let him as well. He is playing for Ireland though, as a citizen of this Island, and if he has other tradiitions and beliefs then he is perfectly entitled to show them off.

Hasn’t wee Paddy represented Leinster in his day also?
He is about as much a farmer as I am, I wonder how does he juggle milking cows every morning and training professionally with Munster

Based on current form he would be in line to start the Lions tests, a far far better player than he was 4 years ago. A lot to do with Pucarello I believe who did a lot of work with all the Munster props.

Never sin binned, never scores a try (only ever remember him scoring against Toulouse in Bordeaux and v Scotland)never complains, never gives an interview. The mans a legend.

The day he scored against Scotland his popularity was obvious the rest of the players went nuts.

I think if he gets the call up fr the Lions he will def go.

Thought that The Bulls missus had the record for the number of caps on the Irish Ladies team, not sure if someone has a higher number now.

He’s not full time billy, but he does spend a lot of his downtime on the farm. Isn’t his house on the farm?

Yes.

When he realised that he had no support.

Thought I would get my speak in anyway.

Literally never scores a try, in the Jamie Redknapp since of the word literally. Strewth
