Get a life.
Its an amazing sense of satisfaction Matty isnt it. Knowing you have done it at about 60% of capacity makes it even better.
I fear an English backlash next weekend but what harm we have the championship anyway
It will be party time in Twickers next week, a real national occasion. A glorious Irish sporting triumph on our Patron saintâs day. Win, lose or draw it will be magnificent.
The fact that weâve won the tournament pulling up seems to be driving some of the usual suspects demented, which is like a bonus point.
Losing will be magnificent?
Might I suggest Malahide rugby club? They play beside the swamp at the industrial estate in swords.
The Grand Slam has always been the biggest prize. Typical bandwagoner thinking the championship is what matters
Youâd expect anybody who even has a cursory knowledge of rugby to know this. But there seem to be very few people here who do - and most amazingly, the ones who are least aware of it are the self-proclaimed Irish rugby supporters.
They canât fix their issues in a week.
There will be pandemonium now when I say this but I was actually briefly messaging one of their coaches this his morning on actually other matter. But he quickly said itâs a long way from where ireland are
Could he interpret your message?
weâll be hard bet in the world cupâŚwhatâs the draw like palâŚdoes the draw keep us away from New Zealand until the final like the last one?
We communicate on another level that would be above your comprehension
Lolz
Youâre like a real life Alan Partridge.
Fella you are out of your mind
Iâm well aware of the history of England v Wales matches. Wales beat England in 1967 in Cardiff. That was the famous Keith Jarrett match.
28 years I see it was that England went without a win in Cardiff.
Backs up my point about Wales never fearing England even more.
England v Wales is a the most spiteful rivalry in international rugby.
England as a powerhouse of European rugby only dates back to about 1988. For most of the first century of the Championship, Wales had no reason to fear England or anyone. Wales were the powerhouse of European rugby, England were shit most of the time.
England beating Australia in November 1988 was the start of Englandâs modern rise. You could possibly even trace it back to half-time in the final game of the 1988 Five Nations when I think Ireland led them 3-0. England cut loose in the second half and Chris Oti ran absolute riot, they won by about 30 points.
They still managed to fuck things up for themselves in Cardiff in 1989 in the final match when they handed Wales the win and the championship to France.
Wales fear no one in rugby . They have an arrogance about them . They always feel they have a divine right to beat anyone .
