Rising to £8 million according to SSN
Loic Remy was cheaper.
I expect to be hearing this quite a lot in the coming season
‘‘Reid to Assombaloga, GOAL’’
Forest have also purchased Lars Weldyk who scored 30 goals for Exelcior in Holland last season, Roger Riera who lifted the Champions League trophy for Barcelona (-19s) in April. Also in are Micheal Mancienne, Michial Antonio, Chris Burke, Matty Fryatt while the services of Darlow and Lascelles have been retained for another year at least.
Combine this with the likes of Reid, Cohen, Hobbs, Wilson, Lansbury(if we can hold on to him) all to return from injury and promotion looks nailed on.
I see Leeds biggest singing of the Summer was Nicky Ajose for 150k, not to worry I’m sure the Ross McCormack money will be invested wisely:D

What would you know about Leeds? Cellini is going to sort Leeds. MOT.
Now that Mad Max has retired the no.17 jersey there will be no stopping Leeds.

No he wasn’t and in any event if it does rise to 8million it will be because he has scored fuck load of goals for us. Only 21 aswell. He probably is only worth about 3million but we need someone who will score goals and if he scores 20 goals next season it will be money well spent
You’ve paid c.€6.3m for an absolute nobody, you mad man.
Like I said, we have over paid absolutely but if he scores 20+ goals next season I couldnt give a fuck how much we have paid for him. A lack of goals has been our downfall for the last few seasons
He’ll score no more than 10 league goals, pal. I’m willing to bet my username on that but @chewy louie owns my naming rights until 1 January 2015.
I’ll have some of that. @chewy louie sort this shit out.
I’m supporting Leeds. Their owner sounds like a lunatic.
blackburn and cardfiff drawing 1-1 at the moment, thinking of heading to Ipswich to support friend of the forum big Mick tommorrow
fuck it, just bought a ticket for Millwall-Leeds at the den, going to be a bit “tasty” both on and off the pitch, slightly apprehensive about going there on my own, but fuck it
Despite us breaking our transfer record to sign Assombalonga (who reminds me of a young Collymore), the signings I’m really excited by are Matty Fryatt from Hull & Chris Burke from Birmingham. Fryatt knows where the net is - I can easily see him grabbing 15-20 goals this term. Burke, like Fryatt, we had tried to sign several times in the past. The best winger in the division, has tormented us time and time again. If we can keep hold of Henri Lansbury from the advances of Burnley, and with the Irish Messi pulling the strings in midfield, we’re a very strong contender for automatic promotion.
I’ll be very disappointed if we don’t beat football’s equivalent of Frankenstein today by at least 3 goals. That Blackpool side are there to be unapologetically humbled. I heard an interview with their chairman Karl Oyston during the week, and some of comments were outrageous. He claimed it was totally acceptable to have a grand total of 8 squad players only 11 days before the season commences. He hasn’t reinvested the money received for Charlie Adam & Tom Ince. Fuck knows what he has done with the parachute money from their season in the PL. The training ground is by far the worst in the division, like something out of Saipan. Fans have had enough and there have been protests against Oyston on a bi-weekly basis throughout the summer. Thank god we don’t have to put up with that shit @ Forest.
If I had to pick my top 6, it would be this:
from what I can see, Stuart Pierce talks a good game, but doesn’t back it up
A lunatic who will sort them out. Financially if not on the field. You won’t find him paying the likes of Noel Hunt £25k a week to score one goal in the whole season. What he’s done at Cagliari has been miraculous given the size of the club.
Although I have no idea who Dave Hockaday is. Leeds needed a big name, not a nobody.
We’ll find out soon enough. The encouraging thing is that he’s building a club, not just a team. He’s thrown in a few guys from the youth setup that Billy Davies just ignored. Pearce wants a continual flow of players from youths to first team. We’ll have 3 of our own youth team products on the field today and it’s great to see.

he is making big changes already, cutting the bills like fuck, he has them bringing their own lunch to traning and paying for washing their own gear, he said he nearly calloped when he sat down to go through the books in detail, he reckons Leeds don’t even own the chairs in the boardroom
The best one was when they brought in Murphy from Crewe. A promising young guy who was on 2-3k a week at Gresty Road but unproven at Championship level. Leeds, almost without deliberation, bumped up his wages to €15k a week. He’d barely played a game for them. Madness.
It was like Ridsdale’s time all over again.
