That time of year has come again folks. The Kings of tungsten tossing come across the water to excite and ignite the flock of darts enthusiasts with displays of athletic prowess the likes of which cant be seen anywhere on our fair planet. Thats right the PDC Skybet World Grand Prix comes to Citywest for a week of thrills, spills, pints and hawaiian shirts.

No shockers in the odds for this, James Wade is certainly worth an e/w punt, @ 10/1 you cant go wrong. Looking through the field though, there are lots of big names who if they come good over the course of the week could easily make the final. Peter Manley & Roland Scholten would be two I think could feature in the later stages

Phil Taylor 7/4
Raymond van Barneveld 5/2
James Wade 10/1
Terry Jenkins 11/1
Mervyn King 18/1
Adrian Lewis 18/1
Colin Lloyd 25/1
Colin Osborne 25/1
John Part 28/1
Andy Hamilton 33/1
Peter Manley 40/1
Mark Dudbridge 50/1
Wayne Mardle 50/1
Roland Scholten 50/1
Dennis Priestley 50/1
Vincent van der Voort 66/1
Ronnie Baxter 66/1
Chris Mason 66/1
Barrie Bates 80/1
Kevin Painter 80/1
Wes Newton 100/1
Andy Jenkins 100/1
Denis Ovens 100/1
Wayne Jones 100/1
Alan Tabern 100/1
Adrian Gray 125/1
Andy Smith 125/1
Alex Roy 125/1
Billy Matthews 300/1
Jason Barry 300/1
John Elder 300/1
James Keogh 300/1

I haven’t got a breeze about this stuff but I might throw a bit of luck money on an outsider if anyone has any knowledge of it…

Terry Jenkins is the guy I’d be going for now, not exactly an outsider though. Best price Boyles @ 6/1

As an outside e/w shout Colin Lloyd would be worth a look, best price Ladbrokes @ 33/1.

I don’t think you can go wrong throwing a 5ew on Mark ‘Flash’ Dudbridge. The other main threat as far as I’m concerned is Wayne ‘Hawaii 501’ Mardle.

I’d love to see Wayne win it(as you can probably tell from the name of my fantasy team). His big problem is and has always been his drift into the 5 bed. It ruins him on so many occasions.

Ventured up to Citywest last night to catch some of the darting action. The Barneveld match was over in the time it took to queue for a drink. Lewis managed to get through but will almost certainly bottle it.

Jenks is looking good methinks. And Lloyd is looking good as the outside bet still, I’ll be raging that I didnt get on him if he makes the final
