Junior soccer is massive in Limerick, mate. Players earn more playing for junior clubs than LOI players⌠Teams like Pike Rovers also have a higher attendance than Limerick.
P.s I donât have a skysports subscription, mate. And As much as I love Ireland, Limerick fc, Liverpool football club and the Epl, I am glad kids are leaving soccer behind for Gaelic games.

your glued to sky sports mate
thats a perfect indication of where you are at on the sporting spectrum
The FAI use 5-a-side and social soccer to boost numbers. If the GAA gets itâs act together and does more Over 35âs and 7 & 9 a-side it will blow those soccer numbers out the gap.
Soccer has a major issue with money and using it wisely.

Any money coming into soccer in this country ends up being spent on hookers in Tallinn, Gdansk and Moscow.

have a look at the number of 11 a side leagues in Dublin and compare that with the GGA leagues, there is a massive difference[/quote]
Spot on. Very low numbers for 11 a side in GAA.

Have a look at how they are run and youâll notice another massive big difference. Most soccer leagues in Dublin are a shambles. Games start late, teams get togged out on the sidelines. The Gaelic leagues are far more professionally run and that is why the youngsters are deserting soccer in their droves.
