SkySports Anti GAA Bias

Junior soccer is massive in Limerick, mate. Players earn more playing for junior clubs than LOI players… Teams like Pike Rovers also have a higher attendance than Limerick.

P.s I don’t have a skysports subscription, mate. And As much as I love Ireland, Limerick fc, Liverpool football club and the Epl, I am glad kids are leaving soccer behind for Gaelic games.

your glued to sky sports mate

thats a perfect indication of where you are at on the sporting spectrum

If swimming and personal exercise are our two biggest sports why are we useless in the Olympics?

Any link to this report?

It was on SSN. About 35 mins past the hour.

just had a quick look at some Limerick websites

I took at random an underage group

There are 30 teams playing stick hurling

32 teams playing bogball

68 teams playing football

Football is top dog

Good to see you finally admit soccer in Ireland is in terminal decline, mate.

The FAI use 5-a-side and social soccer to boost numbers. If the GAA gets it’s act together and does more Over 35’s and 7 & 9 a-side it will blow those soccer numbers out the gap.

Soccer has a major issue with money and using it wisely.

Any money coming into soccer in this country ends up being spent on hookers in Tallinn, Gdansk and Moscow.

where is this & how do you know they use 5 a side

have a look at the number of 11 a side leagues in Dublin and compare that with the GGA leagues, there is a massive difference

lets not go down the route of sexual tastes when comparing FAI officials vs GGA officials mate.Im on my last warning here in regards to that

Spot on. Very low numbers for 11 a side in GAA.

Don’t rugby do the same with tag rugby to boost numbers?

Have a look at how they are run and you’ll notice another massive big difference. Most soccer leagues in Dublin are a shambles. Games start late, teams get togged out on the sidelines. The Gaelic leagues are far more professionally run and that is why the youngsters are deserting soccer in their droves.

Go ahead, mate. You clearly want to.

Yip.

Laois club hurling matches regularly end up 11 a side.

spoken like a true GGA official
