Sligo 🍻

Codegreen is off the reservation this weekend, it’s facinating to watch. Imagine making up a trip to fucking Sligo

He is a man of honour and if he says he is in Sligo then he is in Sligo.

He’s unhinged mate, but he’s in the right place for that, and I don’t mean Sligo

I have it on good authority that @anon26343222 is staying in Maryjo’s guesthouse on the Rosses Point Road, he was seduced by the claim of Colour Televisions in every room

Hey @Spidey , this hotel is quare modern ( the glass house) . Not sure I like it

Happy days.It used to be know as the Silver Swan. @anon67715551 was surely at a wedding or 2 there back in the 80s.Its a fine spot now tbf

I had my stag in Sligo in 2009. We stayed in some dodgy hotel called the Inisfree I think. Twas close to closing down so we got it for fuck all. Rough as a bears arse but they tolerated our antics. I think it was an IRA spot back in the day. Great town all the same.

It was a great drinking town back in the 90s/00s.There was a few good day drinking spots like Harry’s Bar and Shoot the Crows. Equinox nite club was a handy enough spot to get in as a young lad as Toffs was over 21s :grinning:,as a student town Thursday night was probably the best night out

Affirmative to the Silver Swan’s previous offerings, a grand oul’ spot for a wedding.
The new owners have ploughed a ball of twine into the re-vamped Glass House but I’d say it worked out for them prior to this pandemic. @iron_mike will be in his element with the ambience and warm friendly staff.
