I’m here for a few days. Is there any pub or clubs worth visiting or do I keep going North. Any sligo men here. The 2011 league of Ireland players are like royalty up here. Have the whole town ridden twice over I heard.

Hargodans? does great food and id be surprised if it wasn’t a decent boozer once the food has died down a bit.

Hargadens is a noble boozer at 1 end of the main street. Shoot the Crows midway up is/was an odd but engaging pub popular with Donegal folk.
McLynn’s which is quite near the Showgrounds is a grand quiet boozer that occasionally hosts super spontaneous sing songs. Donal McLynn the owner is a fine singer and musician himself.
The Leitrim Bar is to be avoided - full of pretentious cunts.
Sligo is a nifty town for skirt so depending on your status it should be interesting.

Sligo is one of the greatest sneaky spots in Ireland. Enjoy every moment up there @anon32894817. There’s also a casino in the middle of town where the ‘new road’ cuts through the old strand hill road.

Man it’s a hidden gem, like kilkenny only packed in to a closer radius. Lovely river flowing through it. Wouldn’t set a lad wrong by telling them it’s well worth a visit.
