❄️ Snowflakes Thread (whigger warning)

I think that was the Galway dressing room at Parnell Park on June 15th, mate

“anti-vegan protestors”. That’s next level wummery.

My life partner’s friend received a cold call from the RTE team behind this documentary a few months back advising her that this programme was in the pipeline and that they had recordings of her child being mistreated. She got a right fright and they invited her and her partner to a meeting where she viewed the footage. Seems like a staff whistleblower was making recordings and took note of the childrens’ parents etc.

What were they doing to her child? I’ll have to keep the TV off tonight or I’ll never get the missus back to work. Hopefully it clashes with love island :joy:

What school was it?

My second hand information is that the footage wasn’t nice but that it didn’t have her in floods of tears either. Seemed to be a tyrant of a crèche owner who was aggressive to everyone. It’s a chain of a few sites in Drumcondra area - presume it’ll be named in the programme but will hold off on saying it in case it isn’t. Anyway it was stuff like shouting at kids and staff. Not much more than what’s in the 1 min 30 programme ad on the RTE twitter account. Worst apparently was if kids didn’t settle or woke early during naptime the owner would press their heads down into mattress until they settled again.

Fuck sake … can we go after teachers who did this 20 years ago?

A mate of mine was full on punched in the face by an old school teacher when we were in school. He must be due 100k. He had it well coming to him to be fair. Didn’t happen him half often enough some might say.

That’s not very nice

Agreed.

Does that work?

If it does it could change the game for the new fathers on the fathers thread

Teacher of mine caught me up by the sideburns till i was on my tippy toes and paraded me around the class … I’m looking for 50k

He might as well headbutted the young fella for that compo. What about all the emotional abuse young ppl suffer. That’s worse than any physical abuse

In the Sem before me and @Chucks_Nwoko attended they used to pull the desks back in the classrooms for the students and teachers to have fist fights when the blood got too bad (the teachers usually won).

During the time of Chucks and I there was a business studies teacher from Cork who used to go around with an iron bar and wallop anyone who got a question wrong and he was the best teacher there.

I had a chair thrown at me by a teacher when I was about 7. Few weeks later i was sent around to another teacher’s class to pass on a message and she was cutting something and asked me if I had a knife.

Mean streets.

A teacher hit me when I was 11. Can I sue?

Banger Roche did this multiple times a day.

It’s hide and seek crèche

Standard practice when I was in school. I have one ear slightly further away from my head at the top than the other (which is a fair feat) where it ripped when I was picked right off the ground by it. My crime was being asked where I was going during lunch break.
“The gym, brother” I replied.
“No” he said
“I am brother, honest”
“No you’re not”
“I am brother, going to play football”
.My mistake was that I thought he didn’t believe me, when in fact, with hindsight, he was telling me I wasn’t.
My brother came along after and saw all the blood on the side of my head, and thought it was the funniest thing he’d ever heard.
Strange thing is, I always liked, and still do like that brother, an absolute gent.
There were a few right cunts in that school, sneaky vindictive poisonous bastards. As was our primary school headmaster with his wooden spoon and Sally rod.
