One of the local papers at home had some planning application in it a few months ago for a service station off the Arklow bypass at the Gorey end of it. Apparently it hasn’t progressed cos of stupid fookin local farmers looking for 2006 prices for their land.

People have been saying it for years that there’s no service areas on any of the motorways but we were told the NRA knew best. Shower of fcuking eejits, they’re tacking them on now and in the most stupid of places. They’re building one out the N3 I think it is that’s only about 20 klicks from Dublin, who the fcuk is going to need to stop there? I mean if you’ve just left Dublin you’re not going to and if you’re nearing Dublin you’re going to kick on into the city altogether you’re so close. Complete apes, I think Pierse are building them.

They are building them just past Balbriggan as well and then near Dundalk. Typical Ireland, there will be an oversupply of these in jig time.

It’s a right cod that you’re now being tolled on the Limerick road even though the southbound motorway runs out 10k after you’ve paid your toll. Fuck that, I’ll be going into Mouthrath for my can of Fanta anyway so I’m going to go around that sucker until it’s linked up properly. The €1.80 saved would buy a few sweets.

Nah, its just greed. I know of one fool in Fermoy who ended up getting f-all for it when it came under compulsory purchase order. I know alot of people were quietly happy about it due to yer mans cuntness, and the fact that most of the land was going totally unused.
