Macklemore seems to me not to be pissed at all at Sheeran and understands the situation he was in. It doesnt surprise me that you know better though.
Is it a case that Ed Sheeran would have had the hole sued off him otherwise? Surely Ed has a lot of money in the bank and can afford to take a stand. Pink’s statement was a load of waffle American wank. She’s not even Israeli so can fuck off.

I’d read that as masterful PR rather than Macklemore having no issues with Sheeran. He basically said that Sheeran publicly stands for nothing, while also siding privately with the pro-Genociders. He’s respectfully called him a spineless cunt.

Macklemore’s statement was very polite and tactfully put but it shows Sheeran up badly, in my opinion. Very odd you can’t see that.

Ed Sheeran was happy to stand behind Ukraine and remain apolitical on everything else.
His music is shit. I wouldn’t say he neccessarily comes across as a cunt but definitely has shown he is completely lacking in moral fortitude.

I see two Irish acts have pulled out of the tour now as well, acts who will really feel the financial impact of such a decision. You would have to have massive respect for them.

I’m not a fan of people deciding somebody else HAS TO do something. Particularly the likes of musicians or sports people. Sheeran is fairly bland and shit musically for me but seems like a good guy generally. Or did until now. He was in the middle of a massive tour. And people wanted him to shut the entire thing down. What other musicians stopped a tour? One or two said they wouldnt play israel?
Considering the Us and europe still do massive trade with Israel, as do a heap of other countries, i find it annoying when yhe focus comes on someone like this, or the irish football team.
Our own government took its sweet time and obfuscated and had to be pushed into the occupied territories bill but refused to put services, tech or finance in. Basically cut the balls off it and restricted it to banning a few oranges and peppers that can be sourced elsewhere anyway. We Literally refused to do the thing that would hurt Israel. But Breda and Nuala and Glas want us to focus on Ed Sheeran. And next week it’ll be the the irish football team.
Onviously i like the stand Macklemore made. It’s courageous as hell and he’ll suffer longterm. But i think demanding everybody else make the same sacrifice and scapegoating them while governments turn a blind eye is horseshit.

A fella from Dublin called Aaron Rowe who iv never heard of but is one of the 2 support acts. And a traditional music band from the north who are part of Sheerans act. Some display of courage and selflessness from them
