Good news at last for Limerick!

Stunning: Limerick city last week. The Lonely Planet guide has high praise for the city

LIMERICK has gone up several notches in the estimation of travel writers with the Lonely Planet guide, with praise bestowed upon the city for a second year running.

Previously described by the guide as as best viewed from a rear-view mirror, it now says Limerick is “boisterously urban” and it’s streets are “rich with tangible links to the past”.
