Pirlo book is two half decent quote about God not being Italian and the one about playing the Playstation before the World Cup final. That’s all, nothing riveting.

I ordered Buffon’s book through library there as well last week, but thought better about picking it up. Football autobiographies can be all hit and miss sure.

I just finished this. A great read. A roller-coaster of a career on and off the pitch. Ferguson is brutally honest and doesn’t spare himself. I’d say he always struggled with demons and still does.
I was looking into getting that myself.
I saw an interview he did with Gary Lineker about the book.
He was jailed for head butting an opponent on the pitch as he had a suspended sentence or something at the time,

Also two young lads made the mistake of robbing his house when he was home. He gave one of them a terrible beating and felt bad about it.
He looks disturbingly like John Terry there.
He was in Barlinnie prison in Glasgow. Not a nice place. He battered burglars in his house on two separate occasions.
Mixed with some very shady characters and under achieved in his career mostly down to alcohol and injury.
He comes across as an alright sort but a bit of a nutcase too. He keeps pigeons. Him Mike Tyson and The General are the only 3 people I’m aware of that keep pigeons. None of them were/are sane.
