The Perry Groves one is better.

I’ve read that alright, interesting character, I like him on talksport.
I’d say Parlour has a good story to tell.

Parlour was on Soccer AM on Saturday and told an after dinner speaker old pro type bullshit story about Wenger. He came across as a stupid cockney cunt.

You are so angry these days

Soz pal. Work pressures, ain’t getting much, changeable weather, etc

:astonished:

Just starting Forever Young by Oliver Kay about Adrian Doherty who was on the same youths team as Giggs and meant to be an incredible talent. Seems like an interesting story. Anyone read it?

Could be interesting but you often here oh if this lad had done his knee he’d have been superstar etc etc. I’d be fairly sceptical.

Seemed like an interesting character. I will report back

Read a very long article about him somewhere recently. Seemed an interesting character and a sad story really. I find Oliver Kay to be a poor enough writer at the best of times though.

That book was discussed on Off the Ball the other night, seems like there’s a story there alright, very interesting character, probably one of the few footballers who could hold their own on TFK.

He was no Paul Lake

I am reading Big Sam’s book. A great man.

I read John O’Mahony’s Keeping The Faith on a recent holiday. It was an excellent read

Adrian Doherty was an interesting character why?@horsebox @backinatracksuit@loko_cove

Apparently better than anything at United’s youth academy at the time of Giggs and that ilk. Was on the bench for the first team at 16 before a knee injury ruined it for him I think. How he dealt with the end of his soccer career is supposed to be an interesting story but I haven’t read the book. Fell into a canal in Holland or Belgium and drowned in his 20’s.

you are the opposite of an “interesting character”

Whereas you are a “character of interest” to the Gardai.
