Sigh

Fail better.

Is that the title of Henry Martin’s next book about Limerick hurling?

Yeah. The rise and fall of the next golden generation.

Two people I know who are not from Dublin, know their sport and are generally sound of mind told me that the Philly McMahon book is tremendous and Niall Kelly put it together superbly.

The backtracking from @myboyblue should be interesting. He’s judged the mood badly.

There’ll be no backtracking old friend.

Sports biographies by lads still playing really bug me. They won’t say anything interesting for fear it will be used against them. Keanes first book was the last of its kind. The suspension he got from it probably forewarned a few others. I’ll be getting Tyrells book as he speaks his mind in it.

You won’t like it

Sports books are really gas . You know a lot of women in your life will generally give you a sports book for Christmas . Generally about a GAA player who isn’t the most exciting person ever and the best bits ( I know) have been serialised in some rag .

Must be a Muldoon thing

I suspect it appeals to the inner snowflake.

*this is 100% conjecture.
