It’s an old effort but Nicky English’s book written by Vincent Hogan was a decent read for the time.

Have started Johnny Sextons book. He doesn’t half go on about his days in St. Mary’s. Plus I can’t help but hear the SoCoDub accent. Not sure I can keep going with it. Should I hang on in there @gilgamboa ??
Is the Joe Canning book worth reading?
Normally I’d be wary of GAA books but that fella was a bit special.
I enjoyed it.

The section where he’s struggling to break into the Leinster team under Cheika is interesting. He gives Leo a good digging during discussion of the 2015/16 season.

I have no interest in basketball and knew next to nothing about LeBron. But this book is excellent. An amazing story. And kind of unbelievable the career arc and the professionalism and the fact he barely put a foot wrong in his entire career. Seems like a model citizen.

Just read this. He comes by me as an intense prick to be about. Funny cause I always thought he’d be laid back for some reason. Good read, but to compare it to something like Andy Lee’s book? Nah, not in the same universe Mr. Howard.
While I’d have no interest in either, I’d have to respect Howard’s opinion on this one
Sexton? No he was very intense in training. Constantly bickering with lads if they made mistakes but sound at the back of it all you’d imagine.
