Squareheads V Roasters 11/10/2015. Official Thread

He certainly does, it’s the least inspiring part of his game, if teams are pressing us he simply does not want to know about having the ball and consistently shirks responsibility.

Set pieces have been dire so far!

Putrid, putting them under no pressure at all

Long putting Fabianski under pressure will yield something yet

He has more passes than any of our other 3 midfielders so far tonight (UEFA). Many of them are simple, and it proves nothing about his influence on the game, but it does show that he makes himself available for the ball. That’s his game.

We can take these cunts.

If we can fucking tighten up we’ll create something at the other end. We are so loose, they look like they’ll score every time they attack us.

He doesn’t when there’s pressure on. He might look for a pass when he’s in acres of space in his own half but when we’re under pressure he doesn’t make himself available and really sells out the man on the ball.

Plays for Seville. Arsenal were interested in him. Fancies the Sergio Ramos look.

He looks purpose built for them.

McClean having a real stinker so far.

I’m very concerned for JOS.

Treading a tightrope.

Dancing on it at this stage.

McLean is a headless chicken. Someone would want to have a word with him.

Harsh, although I’d say a very large % of his passes tend to be backwards. He is not a positive influence but not useless either.

Eternal scrolling was made for nights like this. The whole forum watching the match together with new posts just automatically appearing. It’s beautiful.

If Poland go 2-1 up I guarantee George Hamilton will say “but really, nothing has changed as far as what Ireland have to do”.

I’d have McGeady on for him just to add another player to midfield who is some bit comfortable on the ball

Eh, this is the opposite of pagination, right @rocko?
