St Johnstone v Celtic ☘

Same team as midweek

No graphic? Fail to prepare…

Toljan on the bench.

I’m quite fearful of our back four but think Burke’s pace and power will be suited to playing away from home when opponents are less likely to have everyone within 40 yards of their own goal with no space in behind.

Is weah doing the business

Looks like a bad facial injury for Ajer here.

He looked electric off the bench playing wide on the left, scoring in his first two appearances. Started through the middle last weekend and was less impressive and then had a quiet cameo back out wide in midweek. These 4 games were all at home so tougher tests lie ahead.

Bain saves a one on one, albeit yer man scuffed it, with Celtic temporarily down to ten. Ajer back on thankfully given Boyata and Benkovic are out.

Ian Crocker: “Celtic’s lead was cut to 3 points yesterday after Rangers defeated St Mirren on penalties.”

Celtic denied a pelanty there. I actually thought there was a good chance Celtic would be given a pelanty today so the media could run with a “Rangers AND Celtic always get the decisions” narrative.

Willie Collum is such a cunt.

Christie’s been poor today.

Some sloppy touches in good positions. He was the same first half during the week and then got it together after the break.

Collectively a little sluggish and predictable.

Toljan for Lustig at half time. Not sure if there’s an injury but Lustig can’t get to the byline any more. His legs have gone completely.

Martin bain?
Decent sort actually. Was very good at maccabi and negotiated a very big tv deal for domestic football

A former model apparently

Great run by Simunovic but misses a one on one after a playing a give and go with Forrest.

Burke with a good effort before that but now replaced by Edouard. Clark with a great save from Edouard now too.

Poor though- definitely a penalty

Ah here. How did we not score there?

Jesus how did that not go in?

Edouard broken up in that goal line melee and Weah on now.

Fooooorrrrrreeeeeeessssssttttttttttt
