i said he was never rated as a center back, read the fucking threads properly will you
anyway, what were st.mirren at in the first half? anyone would think they deliberatly threw the game
ambrose’s goal where the keeper sort of flapped the ball out to him looked very dodgy, no team could be that bad defensively
Thought both were very good. Lassad won plenty in the air, laid on the first goal and did well until taken off just before the hour. Very positive performance from him - you’ll be pleased to know Miku wasn’t bad when he came on either.
Watt was terrific. Lost his way a small bit near the end when his touch wasn’t great a couple of times but that was conspicuous only because of how well he played before. He gave their two centre backs and both full backs a torrid time - spent most of his time in a wider role drifting out to either touchline and running at defenders and gliding by them with ease. Really deserved a goal for his all-round performance and delighted he got one.
It was a really good performance from the whole team. Thought Ledley was superb in midfield but you couldn’t fault anyone including the subs.
Watt is a massive talent. He was particularly good in the first half and finished very strong too - it was a thoroughly deserved goal for him. He’s already a £GBP10m player - top class.
As good a celebration as you’ll ever see from Ambrose too - he continues to look the part.
Wanyama’s second goal was outstanding technique.
Other positives were Ledley and Kayal completing full games after being injured prior to the international break and Lassad looked fairly decent.
christ rocko, we won 4-0, relax a bit man
He’s not a good center half, we all know that, interesting to see how the attempted to convert him into a midfielder
i wouldnt be suprised tho on a serious note if something is a miss with the integrity of the st,mirren defence, no team can gift 3 openers quite like the way they did
