St Mirren V Celtic

Only one change with Stokes in for Pukki

Forster.
Matthews Ambrose Virgil Izaguirre
Mulgrew
Forrest Brown Ledley
Commons
Stokes

Samaras not on the bench, might be significant.

That’s a fucked up looking team. No fucking balance or sense to it, signs are Celtic will probably labour to a victory over a team who we have 20x times the resources of yet again this season.

cant wait for this, huge game for us (inverness),

Samaras has a hamstring injury apparently.

Lennon said that Mulgrew, Forrest and Matthews are all playing their way back after injuries so that’s why he didn’t change things too much after the last disappointing performance. Don’t think that explains why Charlie has to play in midfield.

Forrest has been our best player a few times this season. He is very windy and a bit whiny but I think he’s properly talented.

Mulgrew playing on the left side of midfield while Boerrigter sits on the bench.

Boerrigter has been injured mate. This is his first time even on the bench.

John McGinn looks like another really promising player.

Mulgrew unlucky there after a lovely flick inside from Commons.

Nice pass by Commons for that Mulgrew effort.

Fairly surprising that Lennon hasn’t changed the team a bit more after admitting how flat/tired we were in the last two matches.

What sort of incompetent fool doesn’t show a card there? FFS

John McGinn has been the best player on the pitch, strong, energetic and very composed on the ball.

The St Mirren left back is woeful.

Forrest looking sharp. It’s almost like we’re missing a poacher though for him to link up with.

Commons really close with a cracking effort there.

Superb floaty/chippy effort off the post from outside the box by Commons.

Who’s on the bench for Celtic?

Biton Rogic Boerrigter Balde Pukki Fisher

Decent move there that Commons headed over. Bit of pace from midfield and Stokes with a rare involvement. He’s been a willing chaser in the channels to be fair to him but he can take seem to make himself relevant around the box enough.

How is Campbell playing for St Mirren

He’s not too bad actually. They don’t have much ball but he nicked the ball past Ambrose nicely once and he’s been lively and laid it off well a few times.

We’ve started the second half very flat.
