St Mirren v Celtic

Stokes goes upfront and a nice reverse pass for Guidetti to finish. Another good piece of movement from Guidetti, very sharp once Stokes turned. Actually not the best left footed strike by Guidetti and the keeper should have stopped it low at his near post.

Guidetti off with a tight hamstring. Scepovic on.

How tight we talking, pal?

Mildly concerned by the quality of Scepovic’s touches so far.

Berget on for Stokes.

Quite indecisive again there when played into a good position.

Performance from Izzy has been very encouraging today. Hasn’t had much defending to do (which is a huge help) but he’s been terrific going forward for the second game in a row.

That ugly little mutant McGregor won’t pass the ball. I hate Scottish people.

McGregor really should have slipped Wakaso in there. Impressed by Wakaso’s pressing and closing down when they have the ball. Working really hard.

How many times can Ambrose get caught out by the ball in behind him for Wylde to run onto?

He seems to have a strange problem of not being able to judge the flight of a ball in the air. It explains some of his headers on goal and also why he keeps getting done by balls over his head that he is favourite to reach but he just backpedals hesitantly for a while like he’s going to head it away and then realises he’s far too far forward and the ball is going to land 5 yards behind him.

St Mirren 1-2 Celtic (FT).

Up to third and temporarily ahead of Hamilton Accies.
