Aston Villa would be a good one to get. At least Irish soccer fans would be able to go and support one of the teams.

Dick Sadlier said on Radio yesterday morning that half of thier 97000 prize money from the last round was spent on this trip, that leaves them almost 50 grand to the good and they won last night, dont feel too sorry for them.

Theres five Cork men in the list and its only over the past four Years,Cork got big money for a few of those and spent almost none of it bringing in relpacements, they didnt spend it on infrastrucute or facilities either because like most LOI clubs they own absolutely nothing. They will probably go under despite meeting the revenue payments everbody seems to be forgetting that they still owe thier staff around 300k,how did they manage to fuck all this Transfer money away again?.

I thought Murphy is under contract for next 2 years but deegan is out of contract at end of season?..

looks like Oily left a bit of litter down in Inchicore…

Villa played Prague and Odense last season. They were poor.

huh? 5 cork men?

why would cork spend money on facilities?

1986 European Cup winners, Steaua Bucharest.

Good draw for Pats. A chance of getting through anyway.

They stuffed Motherwell in the last round.

Prague probably would have been the best draw for a chance of getting through. They definitely have a chance here as well though. Playing at home in the second leg should be of some help.

No, they’re both out of contract at the end of the season.

Barring any major shocks, they will both be with us until the end of the season. I’d rather go all out for the 2 in a row than take shitty fees now that would barely eat into our total debt.

Great win(on aggregate) for Pats last night.
Its a tough draw agaisnt steau.
If I was a pats fan, I’d have prefered the brummie villa. They are fuckin woejus it would appear.
Still, might head along to the home leg in rds/tallaght/itchysore if the tie hasnt been decided by then.
