Stage Dublinness -a Roy 🐐 Curtis education

There’s nowhere on Baggot Street on the list so I’m gonna go with somewhere like O’Donoghues

Did a mini Roy ramble earlier in the week and bowes was easily the nicest pint over Chaplin’s, palace and the oak.

Toners would be Roy’s go to. Think he had a milestone birthday there

Guess the cathedral?

Left long hall - full of once a year merchants and a poor pint served by Magda

Was in there last night. David McWilliams tried to steal my seat

McWilliams is good craic.

Doesn’t take himself too seriously.

Just met the great man on George’s st with the missus. He’s punching but tbf I’m male and I’d ride him

Would Roy hqve a debonair way about him as he strolls about town?

His anti Northside bigotry is sickening

(Love Bowes though)

Either Roy looks in here and takes inspiration (cogs ideas) from it or he’s become very predictable.

Can’t believe it’s all over. What a rollercoaster Roy has taken us on. It’s a bit like the footix saying during a soccer World Cup, that the tournament is all downhill after the first two rounds of group matches as there’s no longer 3 matches a day on. Christmas will be an anti-climax from here.

Prick

When Roy began his 12 pub crusade, the Festive Season was pregnant with possibilities.

Now it sort of feels like the ‘end of a process’. Like what Jogi Loew felt after Germany won the 2014 World Cup.
