Born in Limerick but grew up in Dromineer (Tipp). They have both lived in the US for at least the last decade one since 2008 I think.

Both went to Castletroy College in the heart of L4 so that’s at least part of it.

I would always have considered Crescent Comp the heart of L4 as opposed to Castletroy

I’d say any estate in Limerick that doesn’t have burned out cars sitting at the front of it has been referred to as L4 at some point or other.

Ard Scoil picks up from Thomondgate, Caherdavin, Balla, Farranshone. think a lot less from moyross these days but certainly still far from Comp/Castletroy L4 levels

Laurel Hill yes, ASR less so but I’m sure it has it’s fair share of well to do Ennis road folk

The real money in Limerick is in NCR and Ennis Road, they all go to Ard Scoil and LH. (After the Model) From my experience in this side of the city Ard Scoil is the golden ticket for boys, I’d be surprised if they had any significant numbers from Moyross or Ballynanty @LionelRitchie

But there’s a huge gdd as p in Limerick between the schools that people want to go to and all the others,
I’d have LHC/ASR number 1
Comp 2
Castletroy 3, but that’s like a community school, nobody travels from other parts of the city to go there

Yeah, but Ard Scoil has more of a mix. You’ve the ones you’ve named, the ones I’ve managed, you’ve lots from Cratloe/SMB, lots from crecora/patrickswell way. I’d wager Ard Scoil more representative as a mix than most others. That mix I think is speaking as caters for all.

Castletroy/Comp lot more from homogenous in my view
