He said something similar on radio last week when discussing Arry for England. The guy’s a tard.
Yeah I recall him saying something like Harry managed to build Spurs up from absolutely nothing. Did they not have Defoe, Berbatov, Keane et al under Martin Jol before Harry? The way Eamonn was talking Harry had taken them from non league football to the champions league.
Ah yes - heard that alright. And most of the viewers were probably agreeing with him.
Harry takes great pride in the fact that Spurs were bottom 4 when he took them over.
Randy Moss has been on fire lately.
“If you go into something with your head chopped off, bad things are gonna happen.”
Great to hear Randy is coming back.
Way to take the shine off a HOF career.
Don’t mean to be picky but a few things there Mac:
The only signing that was in any way a bargain was the signing of Van Der Vaart.
Had forgotten about Ramos farmer. Defoe, Keane and Berbatov were just the players that came into mind. Am sure the squad Harry inherited would have been more than capable of remaining in the premier league though, and not as bad as Dunphy would like us to believe.
Well he had Modric and Bale so they were a huge help. Dawson and King in defence as well.
Its not long ago Harry was hocking Bale around
Liam Brady seems to think that failed ex West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola is the man for the Chelsea job.
Strange.
I thought Zola did a good job at West Ham.
Martin Kiely on Sunday Sport reporting on the Cork Tipp match:
‘Tipperary are now choosing to use the substitution rule - they are bringing on a substitute’.
Reminds me of a few weeks ago when Giles was praising to the hilt the away-goals rule in European football as if it had been brought in this season. Made me laugh anyway.
Alan Smith
“Paul Scholes is walking very gingerly”
Brilliant.
Itv Fa cup commentator there just mentioned that Graham norton got inside drogba last night.
Niall Quinn thinks there is a guy playing for Newcastle called Gooterez.
I’m not going to address the Niall Quinn agenda.
