I remember as a chap a gang of us used to regularly run off a one day subbuteo league / tournament - it was fantastic… we spiced it up when one of the lads got some hand-held device with a football game on it — some 80s big monstrosity of a device that kids would throw back at you today… you played your opponent once on subbuteo and once on the device… the excitement of it was unreal.
The likes of @flattythehurdler’s young lad would laugh at the thoughts of it - saying it’s just not believable.
