Sorry for your loss pal. May she RIP
Sincere condolences to you and your family.
Is this the same incident as being reported in the Sunday World?
Yes, although the reporting makes it out it was an accident/hit and run unfortunately itâs not the case. She was lucky to survive a previous incident back in October when she did the same. I should add it was technically a hit and run in that the driver didnât stop but it wasnât an accident or careless/wreckless driving.
Sorry for your troubles
So sorry for your loss
I remember when an aul clubmate of mine died of a heart attack about 5 years ago out in Tenerife, Kevin Bell Trust looked after getting the man home. They couldnât have done anymore, a great charity. @Bod95 sheâll be looked after on that side anyway. Also, my condolences to you and your family.
The missus has been dealing with the Deputy Ambassador in Chile, they also cover Peru, he is coordinating everything between the KB Trust, undertaker in Peru and all the documentation thatâs required. He has been on 5/6 times a day and is being really helpful. I naively thought that it would be all Ambassador receptions and trade missions, that illusion has been well and truly changed.
Sorry to reply to my own message but Emily is due to be back on Saturday morning in Dublin Airport, funeral arrangements to then be arranged, like all of us myself included we love having a go at the government/public service etc but the compassion, organisation, diplomacy and has to be said tough talking done by the Irish embassy and one individual in particular to move things along will not be forgotten. We should be all proud of diplomats in far flung places around the globe when things go wrong they are there for us.
