What odds McGeady going to Boro. He was heavily linked with them in the past.
Barry is a strange one. No doubt he wants to go but I cant see any of the top4 spending 12/15m on him. He definitely wouldnt be first choice in any of their sides. If we have someone lined up as a replacement (MON has had about 18 months to find a successor) Iâd be inclined to let him go at that price. McGeady to remain in Scotland is a good price.
Because theyâd have to pay in Euros thatâs the equivalent of 54m or thereabouts this time last year. Itâs still alot of money but exchange rate moves have put the guts of 10m onto the sterling price.

Rumours doing the rounds are that Barry to Liverpool for 10/12m is already a done deal. Hence the admission last week that Lucas is up for sale.
How about a prediction on what people think the biggest transfer of the summer will be. Im going with the greasy ladyboy winger from UTD finally joining Real. Any others.

I would say either Ribery to Barcelona, Benzema to United or possibly Beckford to Man City

I dont know tho. Surely Alonso and Mascherano is the cast iron centre midfield partnership there. Barry would add some depth and is a better player than Lucas but does he want to be in and out of a side the year before the World Cup. Also if Benitez believes Barry is a defensive midfielder then it will be a poor signing of Robbie Keane proportions. If its a done deal best of luck to him but we need to sign a better high profile replacement otherwise more could be tempted.
Tevez is off. I think Bayern could be his destination. I fancy Babel, Lucas, Adebayor, Gallas, Nani and Harewood to be also on the move for the big clubs in Britain.

Would have thought that Madrid would be the obvious choice for TevezâŚ
Nani is a nothing player, style over substance, United should offload him sharpish alrightâŚ

Think Nani will come good for someone in the future. Watched him for Portugal in the Euros and he outshone Ronaldo. It wont be at United though. He is definitely off.
Eduardo Garcia, a candidate for the Real Madrid presidency, claims to have an agreement with Didier Drogba.
He says that should he win the Primera Liga clubâs elections in June, he will deliver the Chelsea striker.
Presidential battles at Santiago Bernabeu are renowned for the promises made by the candidates regarding possible transfer business.
Garcia has proven to be no different, claiming he already has deals in place to bring in three big names should his campaign prove successful.
âWe have agreements with three players,â he told AS.
âA Champions League centre-forward who scores goals in England. We could present him just after being elected. With people like Drogba we are looking for immediate results.â
Garcia also added that he would sign a Brazilian playmaker currently plying his trade in his homeland and a left-back from Racing Santander.
Reports in Spain suggest the duo could be Palmeiras ace Keirrison and 21-year-old defender Ivan Marcano.
Always love these presidential elections, the candidates always talk a fair amount of shite, i remember one lad that was running for president of Barcelona the time Laporte got it with a promise of bringing harry Kewell to the club
Portsmouth have no money, are up for sale and are one of a number of EPL clubs whoâve massively overspent, are riddled with debt and will have to sell players to meet interest payments.
A swap deal with Hreidarsson has been mentioned tho. Nugent could also be thrown in. I reckon its a goer alright.
What club do ye reckon Barton will be at next season. Blackburn are short of centre midfielders and Allardyce doesnt fancy Andrews. I think they might go for him.

I donât think Celtic are interested in either of those two and Portsmouth would also be required to pay cash in addition to player swaps for a player of Brownâs quality and potential - cash they donât possess.
Will OâNeill have much money to spend in the summer, KIB man? I donât buy the âVilla are unfortunate that they have a small squadâ line thatâs been flouted in the media as an excuse for their pitiful record over the past few months.
He had significant funds last summer and could have spread the cash around and signed more players if he wanted to. 12m for Milner or 3 players for 4m each, 8m for Cuellar or 2 players for 4m each etc etc. He could have added more depth but he tends to shop primarily in England where prices are exorbitant.
