On that note does anyone think that Senderos (arsenal) will ever make a decent player? Shocking concentration levels and seems to lack confidence but can he overcome that? Remember Utd trying to buy him before Arsenal got him, was being raved about at the time.

Newxastle have loaned Danny Simpson of Man United for the year[/quote]
Simpson is supposed to have a serious attitude problem, hangs around with a bad crowd when he is in Manchester so Ferguson is keeping him on the books but loaning him out in the hope he will mature.
Barcelona are interested in Vincent Kompany…
man lands on moon
Duff gone to Fulham. Decent move.

He should give it to someone to take Lucas away
Looks like all is not well at UTD…
Vidic still keen on Barcelona move
Soccer: Manchester United must brace themselves for another summer of upheaval in 2010 after it was revealed Nemanja Vidic is likely to move on.
Vidic scooped Uniteds player of the year award last term and has established himself as one of the cornerstones of Alex Fergusons side.
Yet the Serbian has been unsettled in the north-west, where his wife Ana has not settled, and is eyeing a transfer to Champions League winners Barcelona.
Vidic, currently battling to overcome a calf problem, has no intention of rocking the boat this year because, after the exits of Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez, he realises there is little chance of him being allowed to leave as well.
However, he does intend signing for the Nou Camp outfit in 12 months time if a deal can be worked out.
It would be a dream for Vidic to play for Barcelona as he wants to play in La Liga, the stars agent told Radio Catalunya.
But if we are realistic United have just lost Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez and dont want to lose another key player.
With United facing a defensive crisis ahead of tonights trip to Burnley, the 27-year-old could be rushed back into action.
A more likely return date is Saturdays trip to Wigan, though, as the Red Devils maintain their bid for a fourth consecutive Premier League title.
Arsenal and Barca ‘sign pact’ on Cesc Fabregas’s 30m return to the Nou Camp
Cesc Fabregas’s future has been plunged into further doubt by claims from Spain that Arsenal have agreed to let him join Barcelona next summer.
The two clubs signed a pact and agreed a fee of between 25million and 30m for the 22-year-old midfielder before Arsenal’s Champions League play-off defeat of Celtic, according to Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo.
The deal would apparently be pushed through next week if the Gunners fail to see off the Scots, though that now seems unlikely.
Instead, Barca coach Pep Guardiola will have to wait until next season to welcome the one player he has asked his bosses to concentrate on signing since Zlatan Ibrahimovic was brought in from Inter Milan.
Barca bound? Emmanuel Eboue was was an unused sub against Celtic
It would be a long-expected return to Catalonia for Fabregas, who left Barca for Arsenal as a 16-year-old.
Though the Arsenal captain has consistently denied a desire to leave the Emirates Stadium, another Spanish newspaper Sport today claims he has been texting friends at Barca to tell them not to give up on their pursuit.
The delay in the deal means Barca will step up efforts to patch up their Champions League-winning squad.
Emmanuel Eboue is the favourite to fill their need for back-up at right-back and chances of the move going through increased when he was not used against Celtic.
The Ivory Coast international would have been unable to play for Barca in the Champions League this season had he come on as a substitute during the 2-0 win at Parkhead.
Liverpool winger Albert Riera is being considered as back-up for the left wing, though Shakhtar Donetsk’s Brazilian Willian is the new name on the lips of Barca’s secretary.
Thought they would get more than 25 million for him…
The EPL is toast
Blackburn signed your man Salgado from Real on a free.
0nly 33! Had him down as a lot older.
what sort of money would be tempting him from Madrid to Blackburn?
No contract in Madrid would have most likely done it I’d say.
You’d wonder why he’d be bothered going to Blackburn at this hour of his life. Surely he could have gone to some middle of the road club in Spain or Italy (maybe Roma), obviously for less money though.
still, he chose Blackburn, it wasnt the industrial tourism or the weather that attracted him id say, he looks pure funboy.
I would say that Ivan Campo and Fernando Hierro had a word in his ear about the joys of working with Sam Allerdyce…
I see Notts County have made a big signing in young Kaper Schmeichel, this lad is definately good enough for the championship or even some of the bottom half premier league sides…
Kasper Schmeichel has become the latest recruit to be lured to Notts County by Sven-Goran Eriksson.
The 22-year-old has again linked up with his former boss from Manchester City, and has become the club record signing at County.
