I dont think Lescott is anything special. He is good in the oppositions box alright and decent on the ball but for a central defender I dont think he is that great really. Dunne and Toure have kept two clean sheets in the first two games. Is he going to drop one of those? Lescott was left back for Everton for a good while, if he was a top notch central defender I dont think he would have been moved. Id rate Upson superior and a good few more in the EPL.
Id rate Dunne superior to Lescott easily. Hopefully the bit of West Clare air has cleared MONās head. Get Dunne in and stop fucking around with bids for absolutely shit players like Steven Warnock and James Collins. Warnock is appalling as a defender.
