Summer Transfer Window 2009
Sid Lowe was asked what he sees the Real team being next season given his contacts in Real.

He named this side, IF they get the men they’re after.

Iker

Ramos
Pepe
An Other/Garia (?)
Clichy

Ronaldo
Diarra
Alonso
Riberry/Robben

Kaka
Higuain/Forlan/Villa
I think the Bayern president put a price of 87million on Ribery last week. it`ll take some money to buy Ribery Kaka Ronaldo and Alonso

Not mention Forlan/Villa!

Nobody ever said Real made sense, bless them.

kaka gone to madrid

alonso on the way

ronaldo will be seething if he has to stay in dreary manchester

ribery said he wouldnt play in england as the weather is shit & who could blame him

Alonso won’t go to Real. He’s a proud Basque.

he plays for spain

Well done

This largest transfer fee stuff isn’t exactly true when you look at it

Kaka, you kunt

Real are on their way to putting together the team I laid out above, it’d be astonishing if they actually manage it.

Still not a patch on the Mighty Barcelona

Villa have denied links to Mickey Owen thankfully.

I still think that Owen could do well if he got the right manager behind him. I think O’Neill could get the best out of him.

If I was to sign Owen it would be on a play to pay deal.

He is completely finished Farmer. I know you have a horn for Duff and himself but let it go.

Seriously what could Owen bring to Villa? He cant play on the last defender any more as his pace is gone so he definitely wouldnt suit our counter attacking style. The only thing he could possibly be good for is when we are at home to the likes of Stoke and Sunderland where we would be creating lots of chances and he could probably finish a couple. He would only be an option and a retrograde one at that.

As for Heskey saying he would love to be paired with Owen at club level by all means Emile. Please fuck off to somewhere shit where you can both be together not scoring goals.

Yeah. He is an utter crock in fairness.

But on his day he could be as good, and as clinical, as any striker around. I think he is worth a punt. I would take him back to Liverpool but there is no chance of that happening.

His day is long gone and I wouldnt waste money on him to be honest.

So in recent weeks you have advocated bringing both Duff and Owen back to Liverpool? It’s not a nursing home they are running.

Think both of them are worth a punt - that is all.

They wouldn’t cost much and I think both still have something to offer.

Looks like Villa is on his way to Real Madrid as well

Liverpool should buy Villa. How much are they reporting the fee to be?
