The Rooney to Arsenal thing will never ever ever happen. Arsene’s only having a laugh.
It’s a bit like me saying I’m interested in dating Abigail Spencer or Kate Beckinsale - I’d jump at the chance but it’s not going to happen. (I know some readers are probably thinking - come on you’re a member of the all conquering TFK astro squad and a Hall of Famer but the simple fact is they are married so it won’t happen).

Why do you believe it will not happen BT? He wouldn’t be the first big money ex Evertonian Arsene has splashed out on.
17 pages later and this is still not done but it’s getting closer. Lewandowski has confirmed that he has agreed a deal with an “unnamed club” so it’s now down to the clubs to agree a fee. Hope Dortmund milk this as much as they can.

I knew City were mental, but not this mental.[/quote]
(Jamie Redknapp, Mail) Fernandinho is a sensational capture for Manchester City. He could be the best midfielder in the Barclays Premier League next season… Fernandinho can become a monster. His stand-out Champions League performances for Shakhtar Donetsk suggest he will be a weapon in the Premier League once he comes to terms with the increased fitness demands.
In fairness I think most Everton fans have known that fellani is out the gap this summer with both Chelsea and Madrid having bids turned down for him last transfer window…
Holding on to baines is the aib thing and hopefully they will get Fer and negredo who they tried to sign at Christmas

Cant see too many of the top teams after Baines at his age. If he was a few years younger Moyes would have him snapped up for Utd already .
People seeing this Arsenal speculation should be aware that today is the last day for season ticket renewals. Wouldn’t read too much into Ivan’s words last night.
Although one could speculate he is trying to push Arsene into spending some cash.
Sanogo on a free from Auxerre might be as exciting as it gets.
