Spurs should take the hand off them
Agreed, he will be a flop and they can buy him back for around 60m next year.
Joey Barton wants to join Everton and is willing to take a 50% pay cut
For fucks sake

Joey Barton is an excellent player, possibly the preeminent midfielder of his generation. Everton would be lucky to have his drive and winningness.
Newstalk have just confirmed the signing of Pat Kenny from RTE for an undisclosed fee.
o_O
Biggest Radio transfer since Ian Dempsey?
Looks like spurs are going to beat Liverpool to soldalo
I’ll take that as a sign that Luis is staying.
Time will tell Renton, hard to see him going to arsenal to be honest
Either way, if we don’t make top 4, he will be gone this time next year. If we make it or not, the prospect of him and Coutinho together for a full season is mouth watering. Not just for Liverpool fans, but that would be a joy for the league as a whole.
One top class midfielder would really make all the difference in pursuit of top 4.
The fee for Soldado is ridiculous.
Coutinho has something about him alright.tidy player even if he is a little light.suarez might be the biggest cunt in football but he’s some talent.pool would be in trouble if he goes.top 5/6 again if ye hold on to him
Didn’t he score well over 20 goals last season? Lads capable of putting the ball in the net will always be overpriced. I don’t think I need to give any examples here at this time.
Spanish strikers have generally proven to be shit outside of Spain. Can’t believe Spurs and Man City have paid out the money they have for what are two fairly barely above average strikers. It’s hardly a ringing endorsement for Negredo or Soldado when Del Bosque chooses Torres or opts for no striker instead of them.
Higuain who is 3 years younger than Soldado and who has a much more proven pedigree only went for €7m more than that. Mario Gomez who is also a much more established player went for €10m less than Soldado is apparently going for. Jovetic, who is a far better player than either Negredo or Soldado went for in and around the same price they fetched in the summer. Zlatan went for €10m less last season. Valencia must be trying to contain the laughter with this deal.
Pah. What about Fernando Morien…ah, ok. I see your point.
Cardiff have paid £8m for Steven Caulker from Spurs. £8m for a guy who wasn’t first choice at Spurs. Madness.
I thought that guy was an up and coming already capped England centre back and a possible great. I was surprised that Spurs sold him. I am not in a position to comment on his quality, or lack of, in any way.
Can’t be that great if Spurs are willing to let him go. Watched him in a few games last season. Decent but nothing more IMO. There has to be be better value in the transfer market than that surely.
Soldado to Spurs is a done deal. Agreement reached subject to medical.
Some One Direction singer has signed for Doncaster Rovers.
Bandage will know these guys in more detail and should be able to give us the full low down
