Roma have US owners I think but have also sold Salah this season which raised funds. I presume that bid will be rejected anyway

Mata would be a huge downgrade on Salah. If we’re going to blow that kind of money I’d rather see us go all out for Berardi

He’s 29 and a sissy. Maybe an English side might dole out €35m on him but all Italian side should part with would be €20m.
If we got €42m for a 25 year old Salah, it would be terrible business to replace him with 29 year old Mata for €35m.

There has been some amount of horsehit from ‘sources in the media’ in relation to Coutinho. The credible sources are saying he’s staying put.
