Hopefully the Cards and Panthers shhot it out for the NFC… Very impressive from Arizona last night, serious pass rush tho they gave up some big plays that may be punished by a better team… Hard to tell who will come out of the AFC…Pats are banged up playing poorly… Broncos still have a top D but are being worn down with long periods on the field… CIN- meh. Pitts had areal shot but they’ve blown it.
I am in two minds as to whether Coach Caldwell should be retained by the Lions, guys. I like his style and he has done a great job turning things around after a terrible start to the season but we will have a new GM and a boat load of draft picks in the spring. Aside from Teryl Austin being promoted or someone like John Harbough becoming available which is highly unlikely, I think the pragmatic choice would be to keep him.
Who are the Panthers due to play in the playoffs? Think they may have shot their load a little early. Giving up a shitload of points and a massive lead to the Giants was a bad sign and then losing to Atlanta like that was a nice kick in the face

I gave my childs godfather a bet as part of this Xmas present of a double of the Steelers and Seahawks for the NFC and AFC. Was very pissed off with last nights results. I look forward to seeing the Bengals shatter the Broncos dreams tonight. I still think the Seahawks will be hard bate and that last nights result was just a bit of a freak one.
Seahawks need to get some bodies back for the play offs if they are to have a chance. @ Arizona next week, and if they are to become the first NFC team to ever go to three consecutive Super Bowls it looks like they will have to play @ Green Bay/Minnesota or Washington then @Carolina then end up @ Arizona for the championship game. Quite a tall order.
