He won’t starve if he retires anyway, just the bare $110 odd million earned so far in his career. I think only Peppers has earned more in their career ever
Are you available for Turd duty in '16 pal?
Isn’t Revis up to $125m or so after his deal he signed with the Jets? And sure Manning and Brady have earned more too over their career. I’d be surprised if there wasnt a couple of other QBs up around the top earners too.
Sean Payton confirmed to be staying on as coach of New Orleans Saints. This seems to be a surprise.
Money in their pockets I’m 99% sure its Peppers
Yep
Salaries altered rapidly I’m guessing, the likes of Johnson,Peppers, Suh and Stafford have an enormous per year average. Revis and the other qbs were on relative peanuts up to 09 ish?
He would be a $16 million cap hit if Detroit move on from him. I would be surprised if he retired as he is still a quality receiver. Talk is that he mayvhave to restructure to remain in Detroit past next season, but all of it is idle til a new GM is hired
just checked there, seems Manning is a mile ahead.

that counts their guaranteed money and signing bonuses, not the value of the deal, as obviously you could sign a $100m deal but see fuck all of it. Peppers is the highest non QB though alright.
Fair enough, thing I read was non qbs evidently. Chris Long! The power of the high draft pick pre 2011
No fucking wonder he kept his job;
Lovie Smith dumped by the Bucs, surprising to say the least.
Koetter to take over with a fresh defensive coaching staff to come in I suppose?
Their defence was poor, McCoy and David didn’t seem to fit what he was doing and the secondary was a bombscare but really talent starved.
Nice knowing you Lovie
They had improved but they have lost a fair amount of tight games under him over the past two seasons. I think a lot of their upturn this season can be somewhat attributed to better QB play from Winston who for the most part looked very good in his rookie season.
Interesting take on Megatron

Reports from the practice field are that he’s back to his old self.
He has the media in the palm of his hand, that story with Jim Nantz refusing to talk about the HGH allegations summed it up perfectly.
Putting him in as starter here has probably soured relations with your presumed future QB and teams will wax him with pressure in the playoffs. His arm is still dead and his foot hasn’t healed, they are fucked with him at the helm whereas they had a chance with Osweiler.
[quote=“Tim_Riggins, post:365, topic:20078, full:true”]The fact is the Pats are cheats and this is not the first time. At least two of their titles are now tainted and given the fumble stats we have seen about them in the last 15 years we all know this has been going on for a long time.

not to totally resurrect an old story, but this season fumble stats are out. Surprisingly (or not at all), the Patriots have actually a better fumble rate this season than previous years when they were letting the air out of the balls and the low fumble rate was apparently because of this.
