Super Bowl 50: The Road to Santa Clara

Vick will only add to the carnage I can’t wait!

So 2 wild cards down and 2 to go, a blow out and a battle royale so far, a sub zero contest and the Pack vs the Skins to go! NFL is the job.

@Mac I don’t know what to say pal.

Brown diagnosed with concussion. They are cursed with injuries.

Pacman put a video up on Instagram fucking the refs out of it. Took it down after. Burfict in the dressing room blamed the refs. McCarron blamed the weather, saying it only rained when they had the ball.

Being a Bengals fan ties in well with other teams I follow which provide unlimited amounts of disappointment e.g. Wexford GAA.

I’ll be reviewing my allegiances in the post-season.

I made the call of a Steelers Seahawks Superbowl a few weeks ago here and I’m sticking to it.

That second game sounded fucking awesome. Raging I didn’t stay up for it but I’m sure I’d have retired during Q3 anyway, the way it was looking.

Pittsburgh without Big Ben is one thing but if Brown doesn’t make it then it’ll leave Denver stack the box and see what Landry can come up with in the air.

Exactly what I did :rage:

I’ve reinvested my Hopkins & Brown winnings in Bridgewater to go under 184 passing yards and Rodgers to go over 264 both @5/6

7 quarters of terrible football followed by a massive payoff. Worth the wait.

Burfict made some tit of himself running up the tunnel. Why Bengals didn’t take three knees, take a chip shot for a four point lead and leave A one armed Big Ben 10 seconds to go the length of the field is beyond me.

When faced with a not too dissimilar quandary Steelers kicked and left 18 seconds for Bengals.

Astonishing last 98 seconds.

If they took three knees, it would’ve been a 48 yard FG try, not a chip shot by any stretch, not to mention those conditions. Sure they would’ve killed the timeouts, but the field position they would’ve given Pittsburgh had they missed was far too much to risk. In any case, it would’ve still left about 1.20 on the clock, as it wouldn’t run beyond the actual play length. Running for a first down to win the game is what any coach should do in that situation.

Maybe it’s easier in hindsight but Jones had shown nothing that could lead you to believe he’d go the length of the field for a TD (they wouldn’t have known Big Ben was coming back in). As much as you trust your RB’s you also have to trust your kicker. 48 yards ok not a chip shot but being the no.1 kicker for any franchise you’d expect it made more often than not - whatever the weather.

Saying all that they were also a little too passive when Steelers had that last possession especially on a 4th & 3.

the vikings included german WW1 soldiers? at least they have the hipsters rowing

I think that there will be over 40 points in the 6pm game in spite of the cold weather. Seattle to win 27 - 17 or something similar

Minus 9 Fahrenheit in Minnesota at the minute. Cold weather football in the playoffs - nothing like it!

Michael Bennett loves his play off football. Always seems to play well in them

Seahawks fuck up the punt.

Nice field position for the vikes.

Nice intensity to this.
