As the around the NFL podcast guys said, the Bengals will knock out the Steelers, but a week late. BigBen not near 100% right, and Brown out. If Williams is a confirmed out too then they have no hope.
No chance of Pacman apologising, he is a fucking cunt and despite the whole incident, he hasnt once accepted any responsibility on his or this teams actions. Thats why they will never go anywhere as long as the lunatics are running the asylum in Cincy.
Interesting to see everyone tip the Chiefs to go and win in foxborough.
Correct. Not sure why you are mentioning that though. Jones was flagged for a personal foul after the burfict hit and it tacked on another 15 yards for the Bengals and made their game winning kick easier. Jones blamed everyone else for the penalty, except himself.
Burfict is a complete and utter scumbag and unless the Bengals can get him to play football and not be a leg breaking ankle twisting, head hunting cunt, they will not go anywhere. But by all accounts, any attempt to control him or Jones will be met with opposition and the lunatics are the ones in control there.
Awful shame they have so much talent in Cinci especially on D, the rest of the team were disgusted after that last drive farce.Lewis needs to go he doesn’t have what it takes, Jim Harbaugh would be a perfect fit for them if they could get him they would have a serious chace of a Superbowl.
I think the bye week will have helped massively. They had an early bye week, and the injuries piled up. Getting to see the Chiefs at their peak helps too. There are enough players back to be able to make a difference. Another couple of weeks for Jackson to get fit and get with the schemes. They have played a lot of QBs like Smith this year too, someone who has the ability to run when needs be, but is primarily a passer so Jones, Nincovich and Sheard should be able to contain him. If Maclin is out for them it will be a huge advantage too. The Patriots had a horrible finish to the season though. losing 4 of 6 is not good form to bring into the playoffs, in comparison to their 11 on the trot. But, I still think the Patriots should have enough experience and tactical nous to be able to get through. I’d fear the Chiefs, I can see them winning, but I fancy the Patriots to be good enough to see them off. The Chiefs are something ridiculous like 3-42 in games where their opponent scores over 23 points. If the Patriots get an early lead and build on it, I dont see the Chiefs coming back into it.
Pats -5
Cardinals -7
Carolina -1.5 and over 44
Denver/Steelers -don’t like this game. Steelers to cover @+7.5 probably. Denver’s offence is incredibly bad, worse than the 00 Ravens if you go by DVOA.
Dilfer > Manning
Another epic TFK weekend of NFL analysis and BANTER ahead. This is arguably the greatest weekend of the year, and if it wasnt for the steelers injury woes we’d be looking at 4 quality close games. If peyton implodes we might still get them. Given jeremy maclins continued struggles with a high ankle strain, not to mention doubts over justin houston and tamba hali, ill switch my pick to NE, all they have to do is double up on Kelce and the KC offense will be blunted. So after my 4-0 start i select
I agree, mate. I think the Seattle defense will blunt Newton but I’m not fully confident of that prediction. The other one I’m not certain about is the Cardinals-Packers game. I think last week’s game will have given the Packers a huge boost.
