Super Bowl 50: The Road to Santa Clara

Just an opinion, not hindsight. Leaving it all to rest on a 2pt conversion with 15 odd seconds on the clock is not giving you great odds.

Yeah, it supposes everything else after that decision would have panned out as it did. They would still have needed a TD, even if they kicked a FG, and they hadn’t shown themselves capable of driving the length of the field in the game to that point. So it was totally understandable that they’d go for it on 4th down when they did find themselves deep in Denver territory.

You are correct I was thinking of AFC championship games

Once yes, but the 2nd time?

Defence wins championships, and I think that could happen again. That Denver d was immense tonight. Manning and the run game would do enough to tick over, the defence would do the rest.

Nonsence. What was left(the first time) 5plus minutes?, a fucking eternity in this game. Its quite simple, they panicked and Denver could smell it off them

you should be an nfl coach.

There was only one turnover on downs in the 4th quarter, was there not?

They should have went for it the first time, bandages rationale is correct. They should have kicked a FG the second time, Denver were out of gas and reluctant to try anything risky at that stage, they were guaranteed to get the ball back. As it turns out they got it back twice.

Two?
