This is one of these “One thing or another Super Bowls”
One thing - The Denver D gets after Newton and the secondary step up. Denver have to lead early and stay ahead. They won’t win it coming from behind. If these things happen, I’d give them a better chance than most have done.

OR
Another thing - Carolina win by 51-17

I concur with this. But it makes me even keener on the Panthers. I don’t see them winning by a tight margin (outside of a garbage time consolation score). I think they’ll win by over 1 score or lose. And I think the first outcome is much more likely.
Gonna let the heart rule the head and go for Broncos to grind it out. Logic suggests the worst QB in the league can’t win a Super Bowl, but I’m hoping the OL steps it up and gives him time. Vonn & demarcus to expose Newton in a shock 17-14 triumph.
@Loko_Cove 10.30am AEST start. Clear the decks for a lengthy pub lunch.
Panthers not as good as they looked against Arizona but should have too much offense for Denver. Only caveat is inexperience and the chance of turnovers in the first quarter which could get to them mentally.
Spectacular day, sunny and warm (74F) but very blustery 20 mph wind with strong gusts. Shouldn’t be a factor and should die down by the half.
