Super Bowl LIII - The Dirty Road to ATL

Packers releasing Jordy Nelson

A little shocked by this at first but it upon reflection it makes sense. Injury prone and aging, Packers have put their faith in Adams. May also mean the Montgomery returns to WR now that they have better options at RB

Moncrief to Jags

Malcolm Butler to Tennessee

Crowell to Jets. Making way for Barkley @Copper_pipe @Chucks_Nwoko

I think the Browns would be well advised not to use the #1 pick on Barkley. Yeah sure, he’s a freakish athlete who can explode for a big play at any time, but he has shown a propensity to lose yardage to a level you wouldn’t want from a marquee running back. It might be coached out of him and there’s more than a good chance he’ll be a stud, but there’s also a chance he could become a Trent Richardson. Way too much risk taking a RB like that so high.

Rumoured to be $15 million per. They’re starting to put a dent in that cap space.

Teddy to the Jets on a 1 year deal
Jonathan Stewart to the Giants
Mo Wilkerson to the Packers

Dion Lewis to the Titans

Fuck

Fully expected Quinn and Patricia to go and give the likes of Lewis and Butler silly money. Glad to see it is someone else instead

Carlos Hyde to the Browns now too?

Is it only Brady and Gronk left at this stage?

no, Gronk has gone to the WWE to fight @Captainshan and Tom Brady lost his thumb so cant play anymore. Belichick and Bob Kraft are the only 2 left now.

Sounds about right and all part of Bill’s plan to destroy the organization after how he was treated last year.

Jerick McKinnon going to the 'Niners by the looks of it.

Patriots rumour mill/idle twitter talk - Suh, AJ McCarron, Jordy Nelson all signing…

Nate Solder to the Giants

The Ryan Grant to Ravens deal is hilarious.

“I don’t understand what the hell this contract is about. It would actually make more sense if the Ravens gave Ryan Grant a 4-year deal worth $2.9 million rather than $29 million. Out of four seasons, Grant failed to reach double-digit receptions in two of them.” —walterfootball

“Grant has 84 career receptions for 985 yards and six touchdowns in four seasons.

If the total value of the deal is accurate, that’s $345,238 and change per career reception.

That’s not to say the Ravens can’t use Grant, as their options were limited. But the market for pass-catchers has gone bananas today, with players coming off injury or with middling statistics getting lucrative deals.” — Darin Gantt, ProFootballTalk
