Jackson reminds me of Cam Newton about the time he was MVP back in 2016. Running all these fancy RPOās and play actions etc. Those QBās have a very short shelf life. Russell Wilson is a mobile QB who can get out of the pocket but you very rarely see him taking tackles. Jackson doesnāt have the same talent as Mahomes who is a better pocket passer. The quarter back position has and always will be about a guy that can sit in the pocket and surgically pick a part the top defenses week in week out against zone, man coverage and blitz defenses. I dont think Jackson will ever be that player.

Heāll be figured out eventually ā¦ but itās fun watching him all the sameā¦ RG3 looked electric when he hit the league.
Brady and Manning will always be up there in the conversation for the reasons you laid out ā Rodgers way behind.

Jackson will have to overcome the spy that will eventually come with a good defense as happened in the playoffs last year. Heās dynamic though at all aspects and looks better than RG3 or cam

Itās not just Lamar being a complete superstar and carrying the whole team. The whole of the Ravens offence is perfectly suited to their game plan and they have a huge amount of underrated talent along the offensive line, TEs and running backs.
They have evolved hugely from last year due to personnel upgrades and Lamarās passing skills improving. They were very one dimensional then but are multidimensional now.
It is pick your poison with them now. Play with additional defensive backs and they will just roll out their heavy personnel and start throwing passes to their tight ends and beat you that way, Match up with your big guys against their two or three TE sets and Lamar will just run all over you.
Add to that the ability to fake who is going to carry the ball means that safeties and linebackers bite and donāt know half the time who has the ball.
@anon78624367 donāt bother your bollocks with the 49ers. Pick one of the sides with a young QB like the Browns, Cardinals Ravens or Bills or whoever picks Joe Burrows next year and you will get a decent ride for the next 5 to 10 years.

Donald was double teamed on every single play last night and Jackson had all day to make his runs be very interesting to see how the Ravens cope with 4 lads all capable of causing carnage, this Ravens team got smashed at home by the Browns and if they fall behind to a decent side early they will badly struggle.
Bill got to grips with it after a blistering start the last day ā The Pats were well on top until Edelman turned it over ā Belichick threw everything at Lamar for a finish and got all he needed from it ā he had long given up the game for a finish.
Thatās it ā their big thing is getting out in front and then smashing teams ā very different when they have to go chasing a lead.

They have one deep threat in Browne put Sherman up his hole, id like to see the Niners linebackers both play QB spy left and right side because they are 2 of the quickest sideline to sideline players in the position. Push the strong safety Tartt right up to help curtail the run and TEs, Kwaun Williams is the best slot corner this season he can snuff out Snead and leave Jimmie Ward play the ball at free safety. If they can beat em deep so be it but Jackson only had 165 passing yards everything is built on the run.
