He is some technician. Amazing feet. Daniels is going to be a superstar obviously but he was highly touted and draft capital reflects that.
You can say its Shanahans scheme and all that and you may be right. If you take rbs as an example it seems they can plug anyone into the backfield and they have a 100 yard game. However some of the throws Purdy is making there are very few players with that level of accuracy in the league right now.
Not prototypical size and not a particularly strong arm. It wasnât even a case that he dropped or was highly touted in the draft, a lot of draftniks didnât have him in the top 250 or 300 prospects that year.

I think he is a decent running back who do it all, but like all the extensions he is a complete culture fit and held in huge regard there for his leadership and locker room presence. The lions very much want to keep their own and build through the draft, pretty much every FA signing is a max two year deal for low risk money - Monty had worked out in FA so they are paying him.
Think that is nearly all the offensive starters aside from the two guards signed up until 2026.
