Super Bowl LVI - The intricate incline to Inglewood (Part 1)

17 weeks yes, each team had a bye week
Now it’s 17 games

Ah, just reread it there… Lovely stuff.

This will throw a right spanner in the works of my annual 5 minute planning for fantasy

Have you finally decided to play fantasy ?:clap:

I’ll smash you

It was - not 17 games though

Greed is a terrible thing. More injuries and weakening of the on-field product almost guaranteed. They had a neat and sensible layout of 16 games, and they had to ruin it for more money. Some cheap single season records to be broken now too.

Injuries gonna be huge alright. As fans it’s great but there was fuck all wrong with the format.

I’d much rather they kept it at 16. What use is an extra week of games if it means less of the star players make it to the playoffs. They already weakened the standard with the last CBA, this is another backward step.

Lets face the facts, the base economics of the NFL always were and still are gambling driven and with betting pretty much fully legal now in the US this is tailored to that reality above all else. It’s just like when they turned Cheltenham from 3 days of Heaven to 4 days of almost heaven. Not ideal but you just have to learn to live with it. The new generation won’t know any better from the off

If it was proper greedy they’d shorten the games to 48 minutes and add a few more games

are they doing away with bye weeks?

I still can’t believe that nobody has thrown a third rounder at the Jags to get Gardner Minshew. Now maybe the Jags want to wait until after the draft or well into preseason to maximise his value from a desperate team.

I would be much happier to give up a third rounder for Minshew and pay him peanuts for the next two seasons on his rookie deal than pay Andy Dalton or Tyrod Taylor 15 million dollars on a one year deal.

Supposedly 19 cases being raised against Deshaun Watson now.

Niners extra game away to Bengals @Tierneevin1979 @Biff_Egan how bad!

First start for Mac Jones while Jimmy rests up for the playoffs.

Kyle Pitts :fire:

The @Mac Jones talk to the Niners is really gathering momentum :eyes:

Chris Simms making the case on PFT now.

Freak.

But I can’t subscribe to round 1 tight ends based on the analytics. Top 6 is steep.
