The 49ers plan with Lance, take the best athlete you can find and train him to be a QB, was just ridiculous. Insulting to the other QBs in the league almost.
He doesnāt even look that athletic tbh. Herbert is about the same size but is much more fluid in his movement
I wouldnāt judge any of the four of them too hastily on this year. Most rookies struggle especially when in bad teams. Most QBs who succeed take a big step between their rookie and second year.
The Jets and jags have poor cultures which are big obstacles to overcome for any QB.
